The Bachelor: Nick Viall Realizes How Hard it is to Date 30 Women at the Same Time (Video)

Has your significant other ever cried on your shoulder because they weren't over a previous relationship? (Awkward.) The end of last week's "The Bachelor" was even more awkward.

The Bachelor first premiered on March 25, 2002 on ABC. This year The Bachelor will have its 15-year anniversary. The show’s success has resulted in 6 spinoffs: (1) The Bachelorette; (2) Bachelor Pad; (3) The Bachelor in Paradise; (4) The Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise; (5) The Bachelor Live; and (6) Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After. You could throw “The Bachelor” brand on nearly anything and it would be successful.

But, for now, the current bachelor, Nick Viall, has to get through season 21. Nick eliminated six women last week and there are only six women left. It’s surreal to say that someone is now “only” dating six women, but “it is what it is” when you start out dating 30 women. With 80 percent of the competition now eliminated, the “sweet six” who received a rose last week were:

Corinne, 24, business owner, Miami, FL

Danielle M., 31, neonatal nurse, Nashville, TN

Kristina, 24, dental hygienist, Lexington, KY

Rachel, 31, attorney, Dallas, TX

Raven, 25, fashion boutique owner, Hoxie, AR

Vanessa, 29, special education teacher, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

The elimination round was tough on Nick, so he confided in his remaining six girlfriends about how hard it’s been on him to date them all simultaneously. The ‘sweet six’ were all dumbfounded when Nick appeared to doubt whether he wanted to continue looking for love on national television by dating 30 women at once. Here is a clip of how that all went down, along with one of the ladies admitting that she literally wanted to choke Nick.
